Our second week of bargaining is underway, and we’ve made further progress toward meeting our economic needs.
Our union bargaining team is consistently making sure that the Providence Swedish team has clarity and understands our concerns and ideas about these three priority areas:
- Ghost steps (longevity step increases that are not accompanied by wage increases)
- Recognition for past experience
- Premiums and differentials falling behind, which leads to inequity
We look forward to advancing our vision at our next bargaining session on Thursday, when we will be addressing:
- Incentive shift and retention bonuses
- Break relief
- Retirement
