We laid out our vision at our first bargaining session

During our first bargaining session, we laid out our vision — a vision that puts patient care, Racial Justice, equity, and respect above profits. Providence Swedish management expressed a commitment to quality patient care and a desire to fix the staffing crisis and keep patients safe.

We have management’s agreement on our list of priorities that need to be addressed:

  • Wages: Across-the-board increases, market adjustments, ghost steps
  • Credit for past experience
  • Retention bonuses and incentive shifts
  • Premiums and differentials (including standby)
  • Retirement
  • Break relief

We will be showing our strength by coming together in our hospitals every Wednesday throughout bargaining to hold unity breaks and get bargaining updates directly from the bargaining team.
